Heavycut Machinery manufactures self-propelled walk behind slashers with different features. They also produce a heavy duty outdoor suction sweeper called Super Sweep. This machine is powered by the Honda GXV120 4hp vertical shaft engine. The Super Sweep has the capacity to pick up leaves, cigarette butts, paper and even aluminium cans.
The Super Heavycut Slasher (see photo) is Heavycut’s best selling machine. The Super Heavycut is ideal for the fast and efficient clearing of bracken, long grass, regrowth and blackberries. It will cut in areas that other machinery such as tractors and ride-on mowers simply cannot. The Super Heavycut is robust in design and is fully guarded to DLI standards.
Of course, Heavycut Machinery have left nothing to chance and insist on using either Honda 11hp GXV340 or the 13hp GXV390 engines. They offer a choice of either Electric Start or simply Recoil Pull Start in both Honda models.
The Super Heavycut is a self-propelled slasher using a fully sealed tractor type Peerless gearbox. The gearbox has five forward gears and one reverse gear to give a selection of cutting and transport speeds. Braking is achieved via disc brakes incorporated into the gearbox and activated by hand controls. Since the brakes operate in any gear as well as in neutral, this machine is very safe in very undulated areas and in most conditions.
